The Florida Association for the Treatment & Prevention of Sexual Abuse (FATSA) is the Florida State Chapter of ATSA, an international multi-disciplinary professional association dedicated to making society safer by preventing sexual abuse. The Association promotes sound research, evidence-based practice, and informed public policy that lead to the effective assessment, treatment and management of individuals with sexual behavior problems and those at risk to abuse. FATSA members are licensed, experienced clinicians who offer evaluations and treatment for Abuse Reactive Children, Juveniles with Sexual Behavior Problems and Adults with Sexual Behavior Problems. Specialized services are also offered for family members and victims. Association members work closely with State organizations such as the Department of Corrections, the Department of Children and Families, the Department of Juvenile Justice, the State Attorney’s Office, and the Public Defender’s Office in collaborative efforts towards community safety.
